This collection was created in 1860 for the Rothschild family. It was in their honor that this collection received its name - Rothschild Bird. Each piece of the service includes an image of a gold necklace that hangs on a branch. This was done in honor of the Rothschild family legend about the baroness’s gold necklace that was accidentally lost in the garden and was successfully found later. Among the owners of this service are the most famous people in the world: the Kennedy family, the Emperor of Japan, the Sultan of Brunei, the King of Thailand and many aristocratic families from different countries.
